The PEOPLE Table runs its meetings on a monthly base and focusses its activities on 7 projects having their own funds and/or available supporters and on some proposals collected under the lable PEOPLE up to now.
The projects currently going on are: Smart services for a Sustainable Campus, POLI 4each & 4all, Greening your Workspace, DeCoSe, Periphèria, Campus Sostenibile da Campi Sostenibili, There's room for one more, Milano and Politecnico.
Moreover some notes have been discussed and, matched with project proposals, gave rise to some of the most relevant activities currently carried out by the PEOPLE Table:
1) Activation and management of a collective development of CODE FOR SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOURS within the PoliMI and UniMI environments. This activity is mainly referred to the proposal Greening your Workspace and takes into account a spread evidence of unsustainable behaviours (see for example the notes: "windows opened also in winter", pedestrian passages in the Leonardo campus used as parking areas for motorcicles".
2) Launch and management of CAMPUS SOSTENIBILE CHALLENGES devoted to crowd sourcing ideas and projects to be transformed into Campus Sostenibile activities. The idea to create the challeneges is coherent with the Periphèria Project that the Campus Sostenibile initiative joined in three challenges i) INCLUSIVE CAMPUS, ii) EXPERIMENTING THE URBAN, and iii) BEHAVE; these three challenges represent respectively a path tpwards the operationalization of the projects i) POLI 4each & 4all, ii) There's room for one more, Milano and Politecnico, iii) Greening your Workspace, DeCoSe. Smart services for a Sustainable Campus and Campus Sostenibile da Campi Sostenibili have been recently added and the table is discussing their future development.
3) Collaboration with Metid on i) the monitoring and management of the Campus Sostenibile platform and ii) the design and testing of the web platform forthcoming-versions.
4) Strong collaboration with the CITY TABLE for widening the attention and initiatives on the use of public spaces internal and external to the campus.
